The conversion of our slottrack
Since quite a lot time we have our Ninco track. We have decorated everything so it's not easy to change something; but the Shell corner didn't please me so I had to do something. The problem was that you couldn't drive the inside-lane of that corner as fast as the outside-lane. You had problems to get up that little hill. And that's why I changed that part of the track. I just had to buy two new corner parts from Ninco (corner 3 and corner 4). To remember: Before the conversion I had corner type one there! And after that I saw that I had to change more than just the corners. Some "old" parts had to be removed like the parking lot beside the straight and also some grass parts. After I finished that I recognized that there is a problem. The lane didn't fit again: What was wrong? The straight was some cm to long and that's why I tried my first time cutting Ninco parts. And it was surprisingly easy.
And now the old and new parts fit again. I just have another problem:
The surroundings were damaged because of my little conversion. And then I thought: I have to make some parts new so why shouldn't I cut even more things out? : And that was the start for the new pit-lane; the first Catterpillar already arrived:
And today I recieved a very important package:
But wait? Carrera track??? But I'm slotting on a Ninco track.
There are no Carrera parts inside, just the package was from Carrera. Inside were some new parts. Moodified Ninco track system for a functional pit-lane.
And that's how it's gonna lok like. Much work in front of me
