Printing decals on your own,
and my experiences and some tipps on this topic:
First the bad news:
I am using a Inkjet-Printer, and because of this I have to seal the decals with clear-varnish (because the ink is based on
water)
Some reductions on the color: with Inkjet-Printers it is not able to print in White, Gold or Silver!! But there are some
printers, which are able to do this, but they are very expensive (~800Euro)
In the beginning you have to change the decals in the right valuation; you can find sponsoring-logos in the web by using the
brands in a searching-machine. Decals–sheetings are saled by some slot-salesman, you can get them in white or
transparent and for inkjet – or laser- printers.

You have to print in the way of each producer of the sheetings. Stick on them in relation to paper, printing-quality and
the drying-period!!!
My advice: don’t touch them for one day!! After that varnishing the decals wih clear-varnish, you can chose a clear or
a dull one (I use a dull one).
VERY IMORTANT: the clear-varnish should not be based on water, because it would reslave the decals!!!
After that I let the varnished transparencies dry for almost one day. Than you only have to cut them and fix them on the car!
Ready!
Finaly the car with the decals has to be clear-varnished again, conpletely.

here you can see an example of two DTM-racers where I printed the decals on my own.
