My experiences with Bare-Metal Foil CHROME
Here I want to show you, how I used Bare-Metal Foil to chome the window-frames of an extraordinary car

In the beginning the Porsche was varnished in an especial green hue. Example was again the film "Le Mans" with Steve McQueen at the wheel, as he redrives the rute in his own Porsche and remindes of the awful accident in the year before. Still in this scene, reality and film get mixed up. In the first round of the race in 1969, Herbert Linge's teammate was in an accident on Porsche 917 LH. More about this car elsewhere...you're right-I'm going to rebuild this version...later ;-)

The foil is cutted in small stripes and layed on the caroche. Whith carefully pressing with the help of a Q-tip (or something similar the stripes get fixed and abraded.

Some parts of the foil can be folded into the inside to get fixed, too.

On thr outside the edged get simulated and removed with an very definde cutter.

This is the way one chrome-frame arised after an other.
