Spyker GT2R LM 2005

Another time a new model is going to be build form my endless growing collection. To my birthday I've got the Spyker from
my wife. What a great car, even the serial version is amazing! In the year 2005 they decided to take part in 24h of Le Mans
and to create a racing version. Yes, and good Chris of Proto Slot Kits is going to produce this car in 1:32. The first time I
saw pictures on his homepage of this car, I knew: I have to have this car!!
IAgain I decided to buy the varnished version, although some peaces even have to be varnished after gluing or installing. But
that's no big deal: removing the adipose rest, drying, grinding, varnishing.

Here you can see that I used a slot .it chassis, which has to be shortened in the back to fit in the diffuser. To fix the chassis with the body I use HRS Clips, which have to be glued on the body. One big antventage is that the connection is movable. I think I do not have to tell you the pros of Slot.it, all together everything a tuning heart wants to have ;). By the way: this chassis is available in Sidewinder an Inliner Boxer.

Now the spyker is finished, an eyecatcher on the slot-track ;)!

Driven by Tom Coronel.

Yes, when I look on the completed model, something is missing… maybe his counterpart…like Vertigo Streif…would match very good, and I think I saw its 1:32 model anywhere
