While searching in the internet I found some pictures of Ferrari 512S #9, where I could identify new sponsors. I watched the movie of Le Mans with Steve McQueen and compared the sponsors. After that I decided to overwork my model and to create some new decals.
Here you can see the first version, based on the one and only colour picture I had in that time. It shows #9 in test version.
And here the changed version.
I've got a new scan of the decal "Escuderia" (thanks to my colleague of the freeslotter-forum).
To brighten the luminance of the decals, I highlighted them with white,
and after that fixed the decals.
In my opinion the effort was profitable, because the sponsors do stick out more than before and now the model is like the original version out of the race.
