Revarnishing
Already told you, that I#m not so confident with the colour of the Mercedes CLK DTM of the year 2004. Now I grinded
it.
There he stands, without any sponsors and complete disjointed.
But I still know the right colour, it’s already mixed. A friendly varnisher of my neighbourhood helped me and combined different colours to reach the one and only CANDY APPLE RED
We debated over the right primer, whether I should use grey or white. After some test varnishes I chose white, I think it was the right decision.
After varnishing, while drying
Now the colour is dry but the decals and the clear varnish is still missing. And when I look on the varnish it isn’t the right colour jet… Once more deck of varnish to become a darker colour…
All decals are fixed; only the clear-varnish is missing. But it has to dry for a day or two!!!

It as do be done very quickly: lift up the top and shot a picture :-)
It's done!! Everything found his place. But it was the right decision to search for the correct colour again! CANDY APPLE RED was a new experience, at varnishing and shooting pictures. Unfortunately the fantastic effect of the colour is missing on my pics L but I#m still in the mach to found the right light conditions…
